The Greatest Generation: Documenting Veterans and Their Wartime Service

A WWII veteran's program being held at the Port Jefferson Library.

Tomorrow evening, the will hold "The Greatest Generation"; a program presented by retired professor John Molfetta.

Working with the Veteran's History Project through the Library of Congress, professor Molfetta has collected and preserved stories of wartime service through one-on-one interviews with veterans. His talk will feature some of his collected stories as well as photographs and mementos supplied by the veterans.
