Elizabeth Acampora and Brandon Reiter, two seniors from won the 2011-2012 Suffolk Zone Award, according to the school district's website.
"Presented by the Suffolk Zone of the New York State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance, this honor recognizes outstanding students with award certificates and medals," the district said on its website.
One male and one female student from each high school in Suffolk County is nominated to receive this award.
