It doesn't get any better then having a Yule Log bake off to really get into the holiday spirit. The French Honor Society at Comsewogue High School sponsored the first ever "Buche de Noel" Bake-Off Competition.
Incase you don't speak French, 'Buche de Noel' translates to "Yule Log." It is a jelly roll filled with cream or jam and decorated to resemble a Yule log. It's a common desert found in France.
Over a dozen students participated in the competition with Mary Silver coming in first place.
