Getting your back to school gear may be an annual tradition (or chore depending on how you look at it) but there’s no need to stress out. We’re helping you out with a list of places to get your back-to-school items.
Staples
Known for its office and school supplies aplenty, this is a popular place to start.
CVS
Always stocked with some of what you need for every season, CVS is a great place to get some of those items on your list. There are three locations in the area.
Walmart
Cheap supplies found here. This store probably has already been decimated by parents looking for supplies but worth the trip for the prices alone.
Family Dollar
Surely you can find some of your last minute supplies in here.
BJ's Wholesale Club
Buy in bulk so you’ll never have to buy a school supply again for any of your children. (Or grandchildren.)
Target
Even if you say the name of this store as if it’s in French, they still let you buy your school supplies here.
Office Max
Like Staples, but different. Still able to buy school supplies there.
Duane Reade
Once upon a time you could only go to a Duane Reade in Manhattan. Now they’re on Long Island so suburbanites can get school supplies there too.
Michaels
Michaels is the largest arts and crafts store in the world so you’re bound to find supplies for school and those art supplies the kids need for the coming year as well.
And for extra credit:
Most of the teachers have already assembled the lists of supplies you need to get for your student to bring to their first day of school. We’ve assembled links to the lists from the school website in one handy place for you to get your supplies. All link open a PDF that you can print.
