According to a report in The Port Times Record, the Comsewogue School Board "unanimously approved a revised concussion management plan for the school district at Tuesday night's meeting."
The paper went on to say that the original plan was drafted last year but the revisions included appointing physicians to analyze any students who might have suffered from a concussion.
"Comsewogue's concussion plan consists of five main components, including using the Immediate Post-Concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing exam, which measures subtle aspects of brain function and can help detect concussions," The Port Times Record reported.
