The first meeting of this year's Port Jefferson School District, Budget Advisory Committee is this Thursday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Edna Louise Spear Elementary School, Large Group Room (same room as the Board of Education meetings).
The purpose of this kickoff meeting is to introduce the committee members to the budget process and set the stage for the work they will do. All committee meetings are public and residents are welcome, and encouraged, to attend and observe.
