First Year of Graduations for Port Jeff Station Preschool

Class of three are first to pass through local Montessori Children school.

Three children from preschool at on Tuesday Jun 14 and a ceremony was held in the gazebo at Diamond in the Pines after a year filled with excitement and education.

All of the students gathered at 10:15 a.m. sharp according to the teachers, Miss. Sharon and Miss. Viviana. They were “dressed in their best attire for this event” to enjoy the celebration with songs and cake. The graduating students wore red cap and gowns complete with tassel.

The kids had a very special learning experience this year when in the beginning of May to the classroom from Brenner's Farm.

“The children will learn about the life cycle of the chicken,” the teachers said.

A few weeks later and the kids got to enjoy some time with their cute, new friends before they were returned to the farm.

Both teachers said that the first annual end of the year celebration and graduation day went off without a hitch.

“Our first year in Port Jefferson Station has been a huge success,” they said.
