Kingsmen Football Loses Heartbreaker To Miller Place

Kings Park football loses late lead, storms back but comes up short in closing seconds.

It was a down to the wire finish between two top ranked teams on Saturday, but in the end it was Miller Place that came out on top defeating Kings Park 28-27.

Miller Place trailed Kings Park by 21 points as the game headed into half time and did not take the lead until nearly the end of the fourth quarter.

Kings Park tried to win the game on a two-point conversion with less than 10 seconds remaining, but failed to do so and left Miller Place the winner after a stunning game.

Tom Milich ran for two touchdowns, but in the end it wasn't enough. The game will be shown on MSG Varsity on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

Kings Park, now 4-1 takes on Deer Park next.

One of the best high school games I have ever seen. I have to give a lot of credit to both squads. Neither team backed down. You should be proud Kingsmen!
