Nov 1: Expresso Yourself, Thrift Shop Fashion Show and Mind Games

Today's five things are about showing up and showing off.

With Halloween behind us by one day and weeks of sugar highs ahead of us it's time to show off a little bit. If you're one of those people who are out there or you just like to have a little fun then today's five things you need to know are for you.

1. The Comsewogue Library is hosting an open mic event for dents in grades 6-12 who play and instrument or write poetry. At Expresso Yourself you can share your creative output and join other teens in this coffeehouse setting. Hot beverages and snacks will be served.

2. Jennifer and Melissa invite parents to bring children ages 3 to 6 to the Port Jefferson Village Center for a session of art making and movement activities.
