Comsewogue's PJSTA President Calls Commissioner King "Highly Ineffective"

Port Jefferson Station Teachers Association president says that King is not doing his job in terms of education and should be held accountable.

The New York State Education Commissioner John King hosted an educational forum at Ward Melville High School in the school's auditorium Tuesday night, where more than a few educators and parents blasted his for the state's testing and Common Core mandates.

At the meeting, Beth Dimino, Comsewogue School District's Port Jefferson Station Teacher Association president, said that she is considered a highly effective teacher, but that due to test scores King is not.
