Report: Port Jefferson BOE Crafting Social Media Guidelines

Board will look at policies regarding Facebook and other social websites.

According to a report in The Port Times Record, the Port Jefferson School District is looking develop a set of policies for teachers and staff regarding the use of social media websites like Facebook and Twitter.

The new policy would address issues like teachers "friending" students on social media sites.
