Community Update

I don't know what is compelling me to do this but since everyone these days seems like they want to express their opinions and views, by way of the social media. I don't see any reason why I should not The title of the blog comes from an article that was written by the great columnist, author and newsman Walter Lippmann, in the eminent progressive journal The New Republic back on August 7, 1915. Lippmann mentions in the piece " a puzzled man taking notes... draws sketches in the sand, which the sea will wash away". That is exactly how I feel about this blog that I have embarked upon writing. I don't mean to entertain in any way, shape or form. This blog will be about how I see the world and try to be as fair and open minded as I can be to different points of view or ideas. So if you happen to be browsing through the Port Jeff Patch do stop in and give this blog a perusal once and awhile. Please feel free to make comments any time you like.
