Comsewogue Grads Named All-Conference in Lacrosse

Pair of Comsewogue grads earn athletic honors.

Two Comsewogue High School grads are getting it done on the field for their respective colleges.

Pace University freshman Matthew Cossidente was named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Men's Lacrosse Team, as selected by the NE-10 coaches. Cossidente earned NE-10 All-Rookie Team honors.

Cossidente totaled 18 points this season on 10 goals and eight assists in his freshman year. He netted a season-high five points on three goals and two assists in a win over Colorado Mesa, while netting a pair of man-up goals against Merrimack.

Also, Devin Cruz was named 2nd Team All Conference for defenders for Belmont Abbey in the Conference Carolinas division. Cruz is a long-pole defender who played and started in all 17 games. He recorded one goal and one assist while picking up 40 ground balls.
