This three hour spin-a-thon is open to anyone in the community who would like to participate, and will help to raise awareness and funds for Response of Suffolk County, a non-profit, nationally accredited organization that provides Suicide Prevention and Crisis Intervention programs and services.
Named for a former Response of Suffolk County board member and Port Jefferson resident, The Joe Dunlop Memorial Spin-a-thon will help to support the 24 hour crisis hotline and community education program at Response.
Registration fee is $25/hour and participants are encouraged to raise additional sponsored support. Special prizes will be awarded to the competitors raising the most money.
