Port Jefferson Man Named Ultimate Ranger Fan

While the New York Rangers work toward winning the Stanley Cup this year - currently they're in the Eastern Conference Finals against the New Jersey Devils - one Port Jefferson fan is already looking forward to next year.

Jake Gittler, 20, recently took an outside-the-box approach to winning a YouTube video fan contest, showing why he deserved season tickets to each and every Rangers game next year. He was named the winner during intermission of a home game in April, beating out four other finalists.

Gittler, a political science major at the University of Vermont according to the Port Times Record, scaled a snow-covered summit on a cold and windy day, proceeding to hoist a homemade Stanley Cup, ending with "I am a Ranger!"
