Bishop Christens New Boat He Helped Secure For Environmental Group

On April 16, Dave Johnson and his team of volunteers from Coastal Steward were joined by Tim Bishop, D-Southampton, Brookhaven Town Councilman Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld and others to , a 23 foot 8 inch boat sporting a 225 hp Yamaha 4-stroke engine. The boat that was purchased with a Federal grant secured by Bishop to help Coastal Steward in its mission to clean trash of of area beaches and to restock the Long Island Sound with water filtering oysters.
