Almost 2,000 local hospital patients rely on blood
transfusions each day to save their lives. The Library
will serve as a community blood drive location and
is depending on the support of the public! Please
call to schedule an appointment to donate. Long
Island Blood Services will be giving away METS
TICKETS to all who donate. This program is proudly

Eligibility Criteria:
• A valid ID and social security number
• Minimum weight 110 lbs.
• Ages: 16-75
(16 yr olds require permission)
• Eat well (low fat) & drink fluids
• No tattoos for the past 12 months
• No aspirin 72 hours before donation
