Art in America: Diego Rivera's Murals
Considered the “father of Mexican mural art”,  Diego Rivera is also the pioneer of modern political art in the Americas.  Works discussed in this visual lecture will include all three San Francisco murals and portable frescoes created for the MoMA, New York City exhibition in 1931-1932. Port Jefferson Library, Wed. 7 p.m.
