The Week Ahead: Comsewogue School Board, Movies & Music in the Park
A look at what's happening this week in the greater Port Jefferson area.
1. The Comsewogue Board of Education will meet on Monday for a workshop at 7:30 p.m. and a regular meeting and organizational meeting at 8 p.m. at the administrative offices on Norwood Avenue.
2. On Tuesday at 8:15 p.m., residents can enjoy the movie "Madagascar" outdoors and for free at Mayor Jeanne Garant Harborfront Park, hosted by the village's Business Improvement District.
3. Return to the park on Wednesday as the Greater Port Jefferson Arts Council presents music at the park at 6:30 p.m., featuring the group Eastern Freight Bluegrass.
4. Davis Peach Farm's famous peaches are now in season at its Port Jefferson Station farm stand at the corner of Boyle Road and Old Town Road.
