<p>The North Shore Jewish Center was established as a Conservative temple in 1947, several decades after the closure of the original, orthodox temple in 1918. The synagogue has been at its current location since 1965.</p> <p>The Center now serves members from all over the North Shore and as far as central Long Island. It is inclusive of all worshipers, from the occasional synagogue-goer to the more devout, as well as interfaith couples. The Center has programs to support Jewish education and activities for people of all ages.</p> <p>Services are held daily, both morning and evening.</p>
