It also offers senior citizen discounts for residents. For non-residents, the launch fee is $55 per day. Non-residents must also pay for parking in the lot. The boat ramp is located to the west of the Port Jefferson Marina, right off of West Broadway.

<p>Boaters can find the marina from the Long Island Sound by making their way into Port Jefferson Harbor. The town marina is at the head of the harbor to the west of the Ferry.</p>
<p>There are some facilities available and water and electrical hook ups too. A pump-out station and fuel are also both available just to the east of the marina at Danford's Marina. Boaters can get most provisions they need in town.</p>

Although it looks like the entranceway to Danfords, this little park is owned by Brookhaven Town. The concrete walkways make for a leisurely stroll from East Broadway to the harbor with benches and landscaping that provides privacy from the ferry parking lot next door. The walk goes around a statue of a sailor stoically gazing out over the waters of Port Jefferson harbor. The park has a gazebo with benches and tables for sitting.
