Located on Terryville Road, the Comsewogue Public Library serves more than just one school district. Residents of MillerMore Place and Mount Sinai as well as Comsewogue use the library. With a collection large enough to service all these members, it strives to provide as many resources as possible at a reasonable cost. The library hosts many programs, including general interest, children and parent activities, computer classes, book discussions and even concerts. Of course, it has an extensive collection of media, including access to some online resources as well.

Like the community it serves, The Port Jefferson Free Library has an eclectic mix that is fun, innovative and informational.</p> <p>The library offers cutting edge services like its "Text a Librarian" program, an online book club, a Twitter account and the ability to search the entire Suffolk County library card catalog from its website. The seven-member Board of Trustees holds public meetings monthly. If all that wasn't enough, the property is even listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.</p>
