Throughout the month the Board of Trustees hold public meetings at Village Hall where the public can comment and where they may listen in when the business of the town is discussed. The Port Jefferson Fire Department is responsible for the fire safety and emergency rescue operations of the Village…More of Port Jefferson and the Village of Belle Terre. The area they protect encompasses about 4 square miles and almost 9,000 individuals.
