Jennifer, Neighbor

Jennifer Nicodemo-Capra, M.A., P.T. is a physical therapist with over 18 years in her field.   She has a broad range of experience in all clinical settings and specializes in pediatrics.   Jennifer has expertise in rehabilitating the patient with pulmonary deconditioning, orthopedic injury, and musculoskeletal pain. 

She has extensive education and clinical skills working with children who have sustained a developmental/neurological/orthopedic injury.   She sees child athletes that are eager to return to their sport.   Jennifer concurrently works as a supervising physical therapist for Eastern Suffolk B.O.C.E.S.  Therefore, she is highly skilled in working with children who have autism and medically fragile diagnoses.  

Jennifer is the sole practitioner at Lighthouse Physical Therapy.  She schedules sessions every 60 minutes so that you receive individualized attention, quality care, and top of the line service.    Jennifer takes frequent continuing education courses so that she is on the cutting edge of her field.   She is a New York state approved early intervention provider.   Lighthouse P.T. is a clinical education site for Stony Brook University Hospital's doctoral physical therapy

students.

Lighthouse Physical Therapy, P.C. also hosts play groups for toddlers ages 2 & 3 who have special needs.   Based on the premise of "Mommy and Me", Lighthouse Kids provides one hour group parent and child sessions filled with music, movement and socialization.
