PHOTOS: Port Jefferson Celebrates Independence Day
Parade is an annual tradition in the village.
People decked out in their patriotic best flooded Main Street on Thursday morning for Port Jefferson's annual Fourth of July parade. The parade also honored the 50th anniversary of the village, with folks from all across town – fire departments, scouts, elected leaders, dance school students, sports teams, and historical and cultural groups – on hand to celebrate.
