I have lived in port jeff station for 9 years now and I am a proud homeowner who is raising a family here. My wife recently told my mother in law that she does not feel safe when going to the 711 on 112 and shopping in family dollar by the post office. This makes me upset because I want to provide a safe ,nice place to raise a family. Lately I have noticed more homeless and loidering Infront of 711 and around the bus stop ifo bravo supermarket. It is my strong belief if we had a beat cop on foot in that immediate area it would have a positive impact . I love seeing the officers patrol my neiborhood ,how ever I believe in having an officer on foot to get to know the store owners and the people in the area. I would love to see this . What are your thoughts?
