Dr. Philip Schrank, MD is hosting a question and answer forum, following a seminar, to help patients dealing with chronic shoulder pain today at 6pm at St. Charles Hospital.

Clinical physical and Coordinating Director of Geriatrics from Middlesex Hospital, Dr. Matthew Raider will present the Healing Power of Meditation at 7 p.m. at the Port Jefferson Library.

John T. Mather Memorial Hospital will be hosting a free weight loss seminar by Dr. Arif Ahmad who will discuss what you can do to stay fit in addition to exercise at 6:30 p.m.

Bulletin

The Comsewogue School District announced it would be hosting a parent training session to help adjust to the new Aspen Family Portal. The district has made many changes this year, including an integration of tablets for students, verses traditional books.

A new audit report determined that the Mount Sinai School District was overinflating their budget, keeping more than the state mandated 4% in their fund balance. Read the results from the audit here.


Sports

No new games today. However, recently the Mount Sinai Mustangs continued to fight their way through a losing battle this past weekend against Babylon, ultimately losing 42-7. Read the full play-by-play here.
