Sports Physicals, Art Lecture, School Rally Coming in Port Jefferson

Your guide to what's happening in the greater Port Jefferson area.

Good morning, everyone. Here's a look at what's happening in our community:

- For middle school and high school athletes, physicals are mandatory for participation, and can be completed on Friday at the nurses' offices. Call 631-791-4500 for more information.

- Posters are being made to display at the "Students, Not Scores" rally at Comsewogue High School, set for Saturday at noon. To see photos of the posters, visit the Comsewogue Community Facebook page.

- The Port Jefferson Free Library will host an art lecture by expert Robert Reis all about the life and work of Robert Rauschenberg, whose work gained prominence in the 1950s.
