Are You As Tall As…

Would you like to know just how tall a horse really is?  How about a chimpanzee? Or maybe a pig? We wanted to know too, so we did some research.  Visit the lower level of the Children’s and Youth Services Department to check out what we discovered. Come and see how you measure up against some cool creatures, read some interesting facts and take books home to learn more! Return each month and see what new animals we are featuring on this fun and educational display!

Click here to check out National Geographic’s Animal Facts page to learn about your favorite animals at home.

Or, click here to search the catalog and reserve some books featuring your favorite furry (or slimy if you prefer) friends!
