Baker's Alley Won't Be Overgrown Much Longer

Baker's Alley is set to rise again, thanks to a much-needed state grant. But how do want this over-grown path to look when it's finally restored?

Today, the alleyway, which cuts between Pattern Finders and Home Again Treasures on Consignment on East Main Street, is little more than a dirt path, but the famed "Baker's Alley" was once an important cut-through in the early 19th century when bakeries lined East Main.

The state has pledged $106,000 to pay for a new brick walkway. But we'd love to know what your own vision is for this alleyway.
