Civic Association Gives Update On Hub Study

To help keep the Port Jefferson Station Terryville Civic Association members updated, the civic sent out an email to give the latest details on the progress of the Port Jefferson Station Commercial Hub Study, which was going to take a look at the area south of the Long Island Rail Road. 

"The Hub Study Citizens Advisory Committee has reviewed the over 300 surveys that were mailed back to the civic association this past summer/fall along with the hundreds of written comments. To all those who spent the time sending back the questionnaire, Thank You," said the civic in an email. 

"Based on all their findings, they have come up with some recommendations which were reviewed by the CAC and are being edited in next few weeks into a final report that will be presented to the Brookhaven Town Board late this winter.  When the report is presented to the board the document, photos and drawings will be published on the town's website and discussed at the civic association meetings as a follow-up."

The next civic meeting is Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. at the Comsewogue Public Library.
