This weekend at fire houses and memorials all over Long Island, people paid their respects to those who were lost on 9/11. Patch readers sent in photos to us and we're posting them here.
Carla Sciara was at the 9/11 memorial service at the Port Jefferson Fire Department on Friday.
"The service was incredible," she wrote in an email along with the photos she took.
