Report: Birthday For Port Jefferson Resident Turning 100

On Saturday, Anna Wells turns 100-years-old, according to the Port Times Record.

Anna Wells, a Port Jefferson resident who grew up in the village (before it was a village), walked to school when the high school was on High Street and has deep roots in the area wrote the Port Times Record reported this week.

"The soon-to-be-centenarian was born Anna May Kempster to a family with a deeply rooted history in the area — her father's side of the family lived in Mount Sinai for many years," the paper reported.

Patch wishes Anna Wells a happy 100th birthday. The paper also said that she will be celebrating her birthday at Pasta Pasta.
