On Dec. 12 the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce held its 5th annual tree lighting event at the railroad car that sits near the intersection of Route 112 and Route 347 in Port Jefferson Station. During the festivities, over 100 children had a chance to take a photo with Santa. Local merchants provided holiday snacks including Gary from Colonial Coffee who supplied the beverages. Dr. Tom Ianniello, Nadine Ianniello and Roseanne Vanessendelft helped with the decorating. Below are pictures from the night that helped residents to kick off the holiday season.
