Il Porto Bello, an Italian restaurant formerly located in the PJ Cinemas and Uncle Guiseppe's complex on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station, closed its doors recently, with nothing but a notice from the Suffolk County Sheriff's office remaining.
The notice from the sheriffs – which handle evictions in Suffolk – was dated on Jan. 16.
A request for comment from a public relations firm representing Edens, the company that owns the strip mall – along with over 100 others along the East Coast – was not returned this week.
