Cops: Brooklyn Woman Murdered Housemate, Spread…

Port Jefferson Station restaurant shuttered its doors in mid-January.

Il Porto Bello, an Italian restaurant formerly located in the PJ Cinemas and Uncle Guiseppe's complex on Route 112 in Port Jefferson Station, closed its doors recently, with nothing but a notice from the Suffolk County Sheriff's office remaining.

The notice from the sheriffs – which handle evictions in Suffolk – was dated on Jan. 16.

A request for comment from a public relations firm representing Edens, the company that owns the strip mall – along with over 100 others along the East Coast – was not returned this week.

Will you miss Il Porto Bello?

Going to miss that restaurant. Always a great place for a good meal. From what I hear they didn't want to close but the mall owners had different idea.

Could the landlord do that if rent was paid? Although I think something was like that with the children's clothes store..maybe can not give a new lease? On this matter anyone know what happened to all the LaCasa restaurants We got a pie one night then shut the next. They did show signs of problems..ilporto bello no.. Other then the people who owned it were" Not Friendly" to anyone ...

rumor has it, that Uncle G's raised the rent to $8,000/month at Porto Bella...who can afford that. Now, G's doesn't have the competitions...people are out of work. I for one will NOT be stepping foot into G's for anything!
