Port Jeff Ferry to Stop All Service on Saturday Afternoon
Ferry service will stop at 3 p.m. on Saturday.
The confirmed that due to Hurricane Irene, the last ferry will depart Port jefferson at 3 p.m. on Saturday and service will be suspended all day on Sunday. An agent at the Port Jefferson office said that serviceis planned to resume on Monday.
