Port Jefferson Ferry Suspends Service Ahead of Nemo
Winter storm forces ferry to cancel service to Connecticut.
With the high winds of winter storm Nemo whipping up the Long Island Sound, the Bridgeport & Port Jefferon Ferry has cancelled all service to and from Connecticut afternoon on Friday. According to a ferry representative Saturday morning service will most likely be suspended as well. Passengers are encouraged to check back with the company on Saturday for updates.
