No Cars Available at Thomas Dodge/Subaru [Empty in Port Jefferson]

Years after closure, this site remains vacant.

Port Jefferson Station has not been kind to car dealers recently. Ramp Chevrolet on Route 112 had an additional lot just to hold all of their Corvettes before closing down a few years ago and North Shore Lincoln Mercury and Thomas Dodge/Subaru have have all met the same fate.

Of those sites mentioned, none of them has been reopened as a car dealership. The former Ramp Chevrolet is the only one of the three that has a new tennant at all, the relocated Port Jeff Sports shop.

Thomas Dodge/Subaru used to be a vehicle mall before closing in the middle of 2009. On top of the titular Dodges and Subarus, they had specialized departments for Kawasaki, Yamaha and Sea Doo. The result was a dealer that carried not only cars, but motorcyles, ATVs, and jet skis to appeal to adventurers regardless of terrain.
