Top Ten Sauces at Pepperheads

Harbor Square Mall store picks their top ten from over 800 sauces.

For sauce enthusiasts, may be a heavenly sight. For random shoppers, deciding between 800 choices could be an intimidating experience. Here's the top ten as picked by staff member Dom Famularo.

Pepperheads Papaya Scotch Bonnett: A fruity flavor with a nice heat to it. The only scotch bonnett sauce in the store.

Pepperheads Wing Sauce: Made for flavor. Famularo says that it's the best flavor they have for a wing sauce with just a bit of a kick.

Frostbite: A completely clear sauce. It's used to change the heat but not the look of what you're adding it to. Extremely hot, customers must sign a waiver before purchasing. ($9.95 online)

Pepperheads Jalapeno XXX: Completely green sauce that's vinegar based. This sauce shows off the flavor and spice of a jalapeno pepper.

Trinidad Scorpion Pepper: This recently-discovered pepper is one of the hottest known to man. With nearly 1.5 million Scoville Units of heat it's made to show off the spice. ($9.89 online)

357 Mad Dog Silver: The hottest sauce the store has in stock contains incredible amounts of heat. Customers will be required to sign a waiver before purchasing. ($22.95 online)

Dave's Ghost Pepper: Famularo says that this is one of the tastiest sauces they carry. If you like heat, the ghost pepper is a strong choice that works well with nearly any dish.($9.95 online)

Blair's Ultradeath: The hottest offering from Blair's comes in a coffin-shaped box. It's intense heat will give you a rough kick with some good flavor behind it. So hot that customers must sign a waiver before purchase. ($10.89 online)

Ass Reaper: This bottle come adorned by the Grim Reaper himself to warn you about it's contents. Famularo says it has a strong flavor to match the kick. ($7.95 online)

Pepperheads Caribbean: This tropical offering is a chunky sauce with a fruity flavor. Can be used to flavor most foods without an overpowering heat. ($7.50 online)
