Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue and Adoption Center,
Inc.
will be holding its fourth annual “St. Pitty’s Day” Party on Sunday,
March 16, at the shelter, which is located at 608 Route 112 in Port Jefferson
Station from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
For a $10 donation, guests will enjoy authentic Irish cuisine and
get the opportunity to meet the sweet and playful Pit Bulls of Save-A-Pet that are all available for adoption! The annual event, which began in 2010, was created to
raise awareness and promote adoption for the misunderstood breed. This year, attendees
will enjoy a wide array of Irish specialties, including corned beef and
cabbage, Irish soda bread, several desserts, and beverages. The lovable pit
bulls of Save-A-Pet will be joining guests for the festive activities.
Throughout the event, all pit bull adoptions will be free. For the convenience
of potential adopters, each pit bull has been spayed, neutered, vaccinated,
heartworm tested, and microchipped.
