Strength for Life provides free exercise classes and wellness retreats for cancer patients/survivors on Long Island. We rely on our fundraising efforts to be able to maintain a 'no cost' program, and there are times we are blessed that others fundraise for us. The South Shore Theatre Experience has been a gift to us for a few years now. From Thursday, July 25 through Saturday July 27, the performance of "It's all Relative" (every family tree has it's nuts) will benefit Strength for Life and the American Heart Association. Tickets are $15; theatre located at 149 N. Wellwood Avenue, Lindenhurst.
Please support the actors and Strength for Life, it promises to be entertaining.
In addition, on July 30th at the All-Star Restaurant in Riverhead - for every entree purchased in the name of "Strength for Life" we will receive $10.

Mark your calendars for November 17th, 2013 our 4th Annual 'Evelyn Knapp 5k Run to Remember'; 2nd Annual 3k Wellness Walk and Kids Fun Run - something active for the whole family. Last year "Sparky" joined us who knows who will be our guest star this year. This promises to be an 'event to remember'.
