An article by author Laura Hill Timpanaro

Popcorn is one of my favorite foods and a derivative of corn, one of the first foods the pilgrims learned to make.  This makes popcorn an extra special food of choice for the season.

To make them you will need popcorn, (about 1/2 cup when its uncooked), 6tbs of butter and 5 cups of mini-marshmallows.

Using your air popper or a pot with a lid, pop the popcorn.  In a medium saucepan melt the butter over med or low heat, watch it so it doesn't burn.  When the butter is melted stir in the marshmallows to make a creamy mixture.  Pour the mixture over the popcorn coating it evenly.  We used a shallow pan to do this and let it cool a minute, then we buttered our hands and mixed it until all the popcorn was coated.  You can form the popcorn in 8 nice sized balls which look very nice.  But if they are too big they are hard to eat.  We tried rolling them into logs and they tasted great!  You can also add dry fruit, toffee or M&Ms to give your popcorn balls a unique twist.
