PJFL Goes Wild!

Port Jefferson Library staff attend Elementary School Pre-K through Kindergarden event.

The Port Jeff Free Library was well represented by Librarian Monica Williams and Circulation Department Manager Sue Siegel at Friday night's fun-filled event for Pre-K and Kindergarten students, "Welcome To the Jungle".  Sponsored by the PTA, the night featured face painting, games and crafts in the Edna Louise Spear Elementary School gym. The Library supplied glow sticks for safe trick or treating, bookmarks featuring great books appropriate for the age group, an iPad loaded with a "prezi" describing current features of the Library, and information about upcoming programs. Several parents new to the community signed up for Library cards for themselves and their children.

As you can see, a terrific time was had by all!
