The Top Winners of the Grammy Awards!

Check out some of the biggest winners in the history of the Grammy Awards. Be prepared to be surprised!

Who is the most awarded artist? The Rolling Stones? The Beach Boys? The Beatles? Sorry if you guessed any of the above. You are not correct.

The record holder for most Grammys received in their lifetime is Sir Georg Solti, conductor of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra for twenty two years. He has won a grand total of 31 Grammy Awards throughout his lifetime. Here are a few of his CDs for your listening pleasure:

The number two spot is shared by Quincy Jones-Renaissance man of music. He plays the trumpet and has been a conductor, composer, and producer,  Alison Krauss, country music star also shares the spotlight. They both have twenty seven Grammy awards to their name.

The number three spot is occupied by composer and conductor Pierre Boulez. Boulez has been composing since he was a young man in the late 1940s and continues to work to this day. He has 26 Grammy Awards.

The number four spot is occupied by Vladimir Horowitz the famous pianist. He is considered to be one of greatest pianists of the twentieth century. He won 25 Grammy awards in his lifetime.
