Middle School Is in Good Spirits

Students at Port Jefferson Middle School certainly did not go unnoticed with their colorful display of character during this month’s Spirit Week. With the help of the school’s student council and adviser Allison Giannusa, grades six through eight participated in the same themed events as their high school peers.

During the week, students dressed in pajamas, college gear, decade-related clothing, various class colors and as their favorite Disney characters. For the finale, everyone donned the school colors of purple and white to show their spirit, just in time for homecoming weekend. The middle school students also attended the high school pep rally to help cheer on the Royals varsity football team.
