Cops: Port Jefferson Station Man Used Stolen Credit Cards

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police have arrested a Port Jefferson Station man they say used stolen credit cards belonging to three different people.

Ari Alexenburg, 33, has been charged with one count of first-degree identity theft, a felony; four counts of second-degree identity theft, a felony; six counts of third-degree identity theft, a misdemeanor; and one count of third-degree grand larceny, a felony.

Alexenburg was arrested in Staten Island at 9:50 a.m. on April 3; Suffolk police had no further information on the arrest. According to Suffolk County court records, Alexenburg was arraigned April 4 and remains held on $9,500 bond or $4,750 cash bail. He is due back in court May 30.
