Crime Report: Damaged Lamp, Possession of Cocaine and Stolen Property

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during June 7-14:

Sean Kennedy, 18, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested June 14 in Selden and charge with two counts of criminal possession of stolen property, and criminal personation. Kennedy was arrested for selling stolen property at 1116 Route 25, Selden. He was also impersonating someone else.

Edward Garry, 35, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested June 13 in Selden and charge with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle crash. Garry was arrested for crashing his 2000 Nissan into a parked 1995 Mercury and leaving the scene without leaving any information.

Christina Luhmann, 20, of Port Jefferson was arrested June 12 in Setauket and charged with petty larceny. Luhmann was arrested for stealing makeup and other merchandise from 3990 Nesconset Highway at approximately 5:40 p.m.

Kenneth Rongo, 27, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested June 11 in Coram and charged with seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Rongo was arrested for possession of cocaine in his vehicle on Mt. Sinai Coram Rd., Coram at approximately 1:30 p.m.

Marissa Cortes, 19, of Coram was arrested June 11 in Coram and charged with criminal mischief. Cortes was arrested for allegedly throwing a lamp to the ground on Birch Ct., Coram at approximately 4:50 p.m.

Scott Gregory, 48, of Port Jefferson was arrested June 11 in East Moriches and charged with first offense DWI.  Gregory was arrested for operating a 1989 Holiday Rambler while intoxicated at approximately 2:05 p.m.
