Crime Report: Men Arrested for Selling Stolen Jewelry

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Editor's Note: One or more names in this report have been redacted in light of additional documentation provided regarding this case.

Michael Bowen, 34, from Port Jefferson Station was arrested in Lake Ronkonkoma on Oct. 21 for reportedly breaking into a dwelling and stealing possessions including wallets, card keys, and credit cards and then using the credit cards for purchases. He was charged with three counts of fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, two counts of fourth degree grand larceny, second degree burglary, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Joseph Miller, 29, from Middle Island was arrested on Oct. 22 at approximately 4:00 p.m. on Old Town Road in Port Jefferson Station in a 1996 Nissan Maxima. He was charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with more than three suspensions.

Michael Keraga, 45, from Port Jefferson Station was arrested on Oct. 22 on Carlton Avenue in East Islip driving a 2006 Mercedes. He was charged with second degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle with more than three suspensions.

Louis Maiello, 27, from Brooklyn was arrested on Oct. 24 at 1:05 p.m. in Port Jefferson Station for reportedly stealing an Audi from Audi of Smithtown in St. James. He was charged with second degree grand larceny for property greater than $50,000 in value.

Aihua Zheng, 51, from Elmhurst was arrested on Oct. 24 at approximately 4:52 p.m. for allegedly practicing massage without a license at 60 North Country Road. She was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.

Ji Baojie, 51, from Flushing was arrested on Oct. 24 at approximately 5:00 p.m. for reportedly practicing massage without a license at 60 North Country Road. She was charged with unauthorized practice of a profession.
