Crime Report: Person Stopped for Warrant; Gives False Name
The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.
Suffolk County Police Department Sixth Precinct reported these incidental arrests in Port Jefferson and Port Jefferson Station during Aug. 16-21:
Edward Reilly, 43, of Shoreham was arrested Aug. 21 in Port Jefferson and charged with first offense DWI. Reilly allegedly operated a 2009 Mercedes while intoxicated, northbound at High St. at approximately 12:37 a.m.
Michael Escue, Jr., 25, of Holtsville was arrested Aug. 17 in Port Jefferson and charged with third degree assault. Escue was arrested for allegedly punching a victim in the face causing injury and transport to a local hospital at approximately 11:40 p.m.

Jamel Henderson, 25, of E. Setauket was arrested Aug. 20 in Port Jefferson Station and charged with impersonation. Henderson was arrested for allegedly using a fake name when stopped by police. Reports indicate Henderson was initially stopped for a warranted arrest at Jane Blvd. and Lisa Ln. at approximately 10:50 a.m.
Jennifer Portuese, 26, of Port Jefferson Station was arrested Aug. 20 in Miller Place and charged with unlawful use of a controlled substance. Portuese was arrested for the alleged possession of a controlled substance in the parking lot of the Miller Place Applebee’s.
