Crime Report: Registered Sex Offender From Port Jeff Station Arrested

The following arrest information was supplied by the Suffolk County Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

Kenneth McKay, 49, of Patchogue, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 1 at about 6:12 p.m. and charged with obstructing traffic. Police report that McKay was in middle of the northbound lane of Route 112 blocking traffic then banged his fist on the stopped vehicles.

Jonathon Delrio, 23, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 1 and charged with disorderly conduct. Delrio was allegedly yelling and screaming.

Mary Morales, 31, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Selden on July 2 at about 4:20 p.m. for an earlier incident. She was charged with menacing. On June 16 Morales allegedly held a baseball bat over another person’s head and made harassing statements.

Police report that on July 4 at 8 p.m. someone called to complain that sections of a fence at a residence on Washington Avenue were pushed out of place causing damage.

Someone reported to police that on July 2 at 11 p.m. the rear window in a 1996 Checy Lumina was smashed while parked in a driveway on Clematis Street in Port Jefferson Station.

Somebody reported to police that while he was at waiting for a fireworks show on July 4 at 11 p.m. another person punched and threw a chair at him and made harassing statements.

On July 5 someone reported to police that another person got out of a car on Main Street in Port Jefferson and shoved and punched him. No charges were filed.

Nicholas Verruto, 18, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 5 at about 12:08 a.m. and charged with DWI. Verruto was turning onto University Drive when he allegedly lost control of his car and hit an unoccupied vehicle. Police report that he then continued driving east on University Drive and struck another unoccupied vehicle. He was arrested near University Drive and Terryville Road.

Thomas Hondropulos, 33, of Coram, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 5 at about 2:05 a.m. and charged with DWI. At about 1:35 a.m. Polioce observed Hondropulos swerving out of his lane while driving west on Route 347 near Crystal Brook Hollow Road in Port Jefferson Station.

On July 6, someone at a home on Perry Street in Port Jefferson called police to report that someone was driving by the home making threats causing the person to be alarmed and fearful.

Luis Armandosantosmorales, 29, of Centereach, was arrested in Port Jefferson Station on July 6 at about 10:42 a.m. and charged with menacing. At about 10:15 a.m., Armandosantosmorales allegedly chased another person with a large knife at a business on Route 347.

Robert Trocchio, 49, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on July 6. Trocchio is a convicted sex offender required to register with the New York State Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS). He was charged with failure to notify DCJS that his address had been changed. According to the DCJS website, Trocchio is listed as homeless. He was convicted in 1982 of sodomy.
